  2. Every 35 years there is seen a dog walking round the Demesne. It is said to be Sarsfield's dog.
    Since Patrick Sarsfield's death he comes there every 35 years and stays for a fortnight the day of Sarsfield's death; it is said that he never stopped howling and barking.
