  1. There are many kinds of herbs. Some of the most harmful are robin-rum, the hedge and pressaugh it destroys nearly all crops that grow in the fields particularly oats, wheat and barley.

    In spring the nettle is plucked and boiled and the liquid is drunk for keeping sores away.
    Wild celery is boiled and the liquid is drunk as a cure for Rheumatism.
