  1. The Rathbeale Road is situated about a quarter of a mile from Swords and gets its name from an old rath now in ruins which, and was occupied by the nuns during the Danish Period.
The Brackenstown Road is situated a mile and a half froms Swords, leads to Knockseedan where stands to an old moat where it is said fairies dance at Midnight.
Some other old roads date back to the Famine Period, when they were made to give work to the poor, but nowadays new roads are made and the old roads are of no importance.
