    A cure for Ring-worm
    A cure for ring worm is: Burn straw, take the ashes of it and mix them with cream. Get a wedding ring and rub the mixture over the ringworm. Take the ring and circle it round the shot three times each time saying: “In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost”.
    A pain in your back
    A person who never saw his father can cure a person’s back by giving him three strokes on the back.
    A cure for chin cough
    If a child has chin cough his mother must take him and put him under and over an ass three times. Then take a loaf of bread and give it to the ass and every crumb the ass lets fall pick it up and take it home. Put them in cold milk and boil them and give it to the person to drink and it is said you will be cured.
