    blown down and people were killed who lived in them. In the morning the sky was very dark and in the evening about six o'clock the storm started and it lasted one night.
    About three years ago there was a big snow storm, the snow was about five feet hight on the ground. some houses were blocked up with the snow and motorcars and other traffic found it hard to travel.
    There was a very dry season a few Summers ago, all the rivers were dryed up and some of the farmers stock died from thirst. There was no water to be got. The cattle had to be driven a long way to get a drink.
    There was a big gale last week, many lives were lost. Many ships were lost. A motor car was nearly blown into the river Lee, only a lamppost saved him.
    A great storm took place about thee years ago. A big lot of damage was causes. Trees and telegraph poles and wires were blown down everywhere.
    The sky gets dull and cloudy when a storm is coming on. There was a thunder storm and lightning about five years ago. Many animals and people were killed.
