  1. At Grace Dieu there is a curve in the ditch about 200 yds the West side of Tom Hand's house. In the space by the roadside there is the mark of two graves which have been recently covered over by clay which has been thrown out of the ditch when the road was being repaired. The people of Roscall say that two of the rebels that were killed in the insurrection of niney-eight were buried there.
