    skies,
    He arises with rapture so loving and so keen,
    That he echoes the woods all round Hampton Hall Green.

    But now I'm in exile far from it's fair view,
    My thoughts while I ponder makes my heart still renew,
    I will now praise it's dwelling, 'tis filling for a Queen,
    It far exceeds Ardgillan, does sweet Hampton Hall Green.

    And now to conclude those few lines I've composed,
    You'll know by the songster I've roamed through it groves.
    My name is James Carton, that name I ne'er will screen,
    Whilst theres blood in my veins I'll praise Hampton Hall Green.
