    The is also the remains of an ancient coal mine in Knockbrack where coal was got. It was a very flourishing industry for the people when the English came and closed it down.
    Crafts men are very useful from time in the country. Some men can makes ocats and clothes without serving their time. In the district this can be done. Hats are made from the flaggers in the bog.
