  1. Every country in the world has its own collection of proverbs and riddles. But the principal countries are Egypt, China and Ireland.
    A Riddle is simply a witty saying in which we are asked a question and we guess the answer such as:-
    R. "What is it that has a head and no face"
    A. A match.
    R. "Think, tank under a bank ten drawing four"?
    A. A man milking a cow.
    R. "What is the stonges thing in the world"?
    A. A snail, because he carries his house on his back.
    R. "Hoddy doddy with a round body and a flat hat"
    A. A pot
    R. "What is it that is ful in the day and empty at night"?
    A. An shoe
    R. "As round as an apple as plump as a ball can climb the church stipal and all."
