Every country in the world has its own riddles and proverbs. Egypt China and Ireland rank first, a riddle is a simple saying asking a question and having with [=wit?]. Some of the riddles used in my district are as follows.

Riddle - Middy moddy round body three feet and a steel hat -
Answer - A Pot
Riddle - As I walked out my grandfathers gap I met a chap with a red cap a stick in his hand a stone on his belly riddle me that and I give you a penny
Answer - a Cherry
Riddle - Trick Trock Trum which was the bitches name
Answer - Which
Riddle - as round as an apple as plump as a ball can climb the church over steple and all
Answer - The sun.
Riddle - What is it that is full and can hold more.
Answer A pot of potatoes when the water if poured in.
Riddle - What county of Ireland fits in a bottle.
