  1. In every country of the globe we hear of special customs at marriages and funerals. And indeed we might safely say that every district and locality in Irland has its own peculiar funeral customs.
    To day we shall summrise the chief wedding customs in our locality. Marriage's take place around shrove and at the month of June. And the people are very superstitious on day on which people get married and they say Wednesday is a lucky day to get married and Saturday is an unlucky day to get married.
    And they also say:-
    "Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
    Wednesday the best day of all
    Thursday for lossess
    Friday for crossess
    Saturday no day at all.
