    of our District was Mr. Woods. The people say that his family had been landlords here for about eighty years. The first of the family came from England and settled down in Milvertion Hall near Skerries. Then a brother of the owner of Milvertion bought Winter Lodge house and Farm and so became the landlord of our District. It is said he was called Hang Woods. Then he had a son St Leger Woods. Who on his death bacame the local landlord. And this St Leger
