  1. Old Houses
This house in which I live is about three hundred years old. There is a slated roof on it. A landlord named Duckett built it and so it was called Duckett’s house. The ceilings in this house are different from the ceilings in this house are different from the ceilings now. The fireplace in the kitchen is in the side of the wall. It is a big kitchen. A window can be seen in one of the rooms (dis) dated June 14th 1837. There are two stories in the house. The windows were very small in the top storey and they had to be taken out and new ones put in.
