  1. One night about eighty years ago six people were playing cards in a house in the Parish of Ballygunner. One of the men was a stranger. Suddenly he lighted a candle, called for the Ace of Hearts, and sent the candle across to the "cut". The Ace of Hearts came across the table to where the stranger was sitting.
