  1. Jesus this hour I give to thee,
From all the past, oh pardon me,
I know my soul will soon depart.
And hide me in thy Sacred Heart.
Heart of Jesus I adore Thee,
Heart of Mary I implore thee
Heart of Joseph true and just.
    In those three hearts,
    I place my trust,
I lie in my bed as I lie in my grave
And if I die before I wake
I give my soul up to
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph to take.
As I lie down here to sleep,
I give my soul to Jesus to keep.
And if I die before I wake,
I pray Sacred Jesus my soul to Take.
There are four corners on my bed,
    Four bright angels overhead.
Saints Matthew, Mark, Luke & John
God bless this bed that I lie on.
When I'm asleep and cannot see,
    Jesus Christ watch over me,
