    Just then Mrs. Hearne saw her cat crossing the floor and she called Mr. Blake to kill it. Mr Blake did so. Then she told him to get the crock of gold and bring it to her as that was a life taken.
    When Mrs. Hearne got the crock she counted the gold. There was about £400 in it. Mr. Blake got his share which was £30.
