  1. Once there was a man by the name of Skriggems who lived in Passage. He stole a turkey. He went to confession and told the priest. The priest's name was Father Callanane. The priest told him he could not absolve him unless he gave it back to the owner.
He said, "Will you take it Father"
"No, not at all" said the priest. Then he said "Father, if I ask the owner and he will not take it what will I do?"
"Then you can keep it yourself" said the priest. "Alright Father" he said, "it was your turkey I stole."
