The voice said "Go back to where you came from and before you reach there you will have the fairies curse". Poor William got a great fright and when he arrived there had he not two humps instead of one. The place Paddy and William met the fairies is known as the "Fairy Bush" on the road to Dunmore. There are very few people who will pass that way alone at night up to the present day.
