  1. There is a fairy lios in Dick Whittle's field, Kilmacleague. It is called sparán na scillinge. It is a bank with a ring round it. There is a big hole in the middle of the bank. It is said that the fairies made the hole. It is said that a man was ploughing around the lios and a big dog jumped out of the hole and the horses ran away.
