- This is how a crib is made in this district. First some fairly thin switches are got. It would be better to break the switches as you us them because otherwise you might break them too big or too small. Make a square with four peices of switch each about sixteen inches long. Nail them together leaving about three quarters of an inch of the ends of each stick sticking out like this.
Then get two pieces of string each about two and a half ft long and tie on to the square like this and hold them thus. When this is done work up thus narrowing to a point by degrees. Keep working until the string holds the crib firmly.
