  1. Over fifty years ago there was a man evicted in this district. The Land League people bought timber and built a hut for himself and his wife. The house was in a lane going out to the Back Strand. It was in Corcoran's ground. The Land League people used give the man and woman money for their needs. The house was called the Land League Hut. When the people died the hut was brought away and was put near the race course at Tramore. The house is there always but no one ever lived in it since it was put there.
