The Leipreachan has many names such as The Fairy Shoemaker and The Luragadan. He is a small little man about an inch in height. He lives in a lios and his dress is a red jacket and a white cap. The Leipreachans usual occupation is making shoes and mending them for the fairies. I heard a story about a woman that caught a Leipreachan. One day a woman caught a Leipreachan on the road and she put him into a basket and told him that she would not leave him off until he would give the gold to her. The Leipreachan said to the woman Oh look, look Courragh Castle is on fire. The woman(continues on next page)
