  1. When a man and women were getting married they used to ride in a horse and car and when they came near their new home a crowd used to go to meet them and take the horse from under the car and pull them home this was called the "Hauling Home.
    It is said that a man and woman would not have any luck if she did not wear something old and something new something borrowed and something new on her wedding day.
