    The following information was given to me by Mr Stephens
    Land Lords
    There were many land lords in this district long ago. Mr Power of Faitlegg was the land lord of Gardenturten for years. Four (of) or five farmers were evicted there. Miss Mary Ann Lawlor, Cregg, Carric On Suir owned property in Ballyvoile and the Dwyer family and Mrs Martin Flynn were evictea there. Mr Beresford owned (nearly) Stradbally village
