- Long ago people lived on three meals a day, Breakfast, Dinner and Supper. The Breakfast and supper consisted of yellow meal boiled and it was made so thin and sparingly that it had to be left out on the ditch to cool and thicken, potatoes, salt and sour milk that was eaten for dinner.
