  1. Many years ago in the time of the Fianna there was a wood near my home which was owned by an ancestor of the Beresfords now living in Woodhouse. This wood was known as the "All Deaz" in those days but not it is translated into English which is "Little Wood"
    Finn Mac Cool was going around the country hunting for game, and while he was doing so he came around Stadbally, and he went into this wood. After a search for some beast he got tired and sat down on a stone to rest. Just as he sat down
