    The "Tampans" are five great standing stones in the townland of Kilkeany in which lived Cian 'na Mionn Oir" who had a famous Slat Draoidheachta.
    On a certain day three brothers, wayfarers with their mother whom they carried on their shoulders called at the Druids house seeking hospitality.
    The mother happended to be from home, but a maid who was kneading bread for dinner requested them to await Cian's return.
