  1. Convenient to the Village of Stradbally, Co. Waterford there is a holy well called Tobar Cill-Aodh. It is situated in the corner of a field owned by a farmer named McGrath. Over the well grows a very old white-thorn bush, and near the well are a few ogham inscribed stones.
A wall has been recently built round the well to preserve it from pollution, as the people still regard it as a holy well and never pass by without throwing something into it viz - coins, medals, etc.
