  1. Sometime during Our Lord's life here on earth an old woman lived in Galilee. She was very poor. One evening as she was sitting down to supper, although the supper was scant, an old man came to the door. When she asked him what he wanted he said "If you had any little food to give me". The woman bade him to sit down to supper with her. When they had the supper eaten the man thanked her and went his way. Next day when the woman went to get her breakfast she saw she had plenty of provisions. It was Our Lord who had visited her the evening before and he had worked a miracle.
