Mick Sweeney was a pedlar. He used to beg for rags from place to place and give pins, needles and thread in return.
Paddy Joe used to go around from place to place repairing clocks and umbrellas.
Another old man of the same occupation was Bill Roberts. He used also make fishing nets and flies for fishing.
Jack Collins was another old traveller. He used to make brooms and brushes and sell them through the country.
