There is a very old Castle in Ballyheena.

There is a very old castle in Ballyheena. It is one of the oldest around here. It was owned by the Geraldines. It was built of mortar made of blood. It was a four-storey building but now it is dreary and it's walls are covered with ivy.
It over-hangs the Lickey River. It is about a hundred yards from Ballyheena.
