  1. One time there was a great football team in Clashmore. They held the championship of Waterford for many years. They won many tournaments in County Cork and beat all Cork teams. They played a draw with Kerry with a single for the Munster Championship in Cork. My father was one of the men in the team. He won a lot of medals and a silver cup. Father Hynes of Tinnock held the championship of the County Waterford for many years for the high jump and running. He won many prizes.
