  1. About ninty years ago there lived in Tallow an old woman who was called "Lame Mary."
    One day while she was picking sticks in a wood, she found a silver coin. When coming out of the wood she met a man and told him about her luck.
    The next day when she went to the wood she found a hole underneath the tree where she found the coin. The man to whom she had told her story had taken the money which had been buried there.
