  1. Very near our house in Ballinaha there lived a poor woman whose name was Mrs. Prior. The mother was very old and lived on what the daughter begged.
    One morning when the daughter was gone begging, the house caught fire.
    Everything in it got burned. The poor old woman put on her habit and the flames never touched her.
