The most harmful weeds growing on our farm are thistles and dock-leaves. They spread rapidly and they impoverish the land. Thistles grow only where land is good. Furze grow only where land is poor.
A weed called 'the Devil's Bit' cures cuts by rubbing it to the cuts. When dandelion is boiled in water and the water is drunk, it is a blood purifier. Nettles are used for food. Green dandelion is used for food for pigs.
