  1. There is a monument made of stone in one of Mr Kiely's fields in Strancally. It is like a table but has no legs. It is all one block about five feet by three feet and about five feet high. It is a druid's altar wk where they offered sacrifice.
    Many people have tried to root it up but it is impossible because it is a great depth into the ground. It is supposed to be standing since the year 320. At the back it is about a foot higher than in the front.
