    This night he was playing the Cailín Bán. they used to fling stones at him. The night he was leaving, he came out to give his Papal Blessing to Cappoquin. "The only thing I ask of Almighty God is to be a warder in hell and God help the Cappoquin man I'll catch there. He need not expect mercy from me".

    The night of the row against the Government nearly eighty years ago, the police made the best men go to the country. One policeman was killed. His mother was a widow and she cursed Cappoquin.
