    A poor carpenter once went to the city to find employment. he went to a boarding house to obtain lodgings saying that he would pay when he got work. At first the mistress refused but he showed her a large box of tools which he carried. They were almost new and worth a great sum of money. He said that he would nail them to the floor of his room and that if he did not return she could sell them
