On May night nearly every one spread holy water over the fields and houses. They say it is an unlucky day. On Halloween night the people of every house have snap apple, They get a tub of water and they put apples into the water and catches an apple with his teeth without touching it with his hands.
On St. Brigid's Night everyone put ribbons and beads out on the doors for St. Brigid to bless them. If a person got a headache he would put that ribbon around his head and it would get better.
