    Our fields are called, the Roadfield, the Smiths Field, the Bawn Field, the Hill Field, the Rye Field, the Well Field, the Ray Field, the Little Field, two Long Fields, the Shed Field and Noonan's Field.
    The Road Field is so called because there was a road through the middle of it long ago.
    The Smith's Field is so called because there was a forge in it long ago. The Bawn Field is so called because there are no crops grown in it.
    The Hill Field is so called because there is a steep hill in it. The Rye Field is so called because there was rye growing in it one time.
    The Well Field is so called because there is a well in it.
    The Ray Field is so called because it is underneath the moor.
    The Little Field is so called because it is the smallest field in the farm.
    The Shed Field is so called because the shed is in it.
    Noonan's Field is so called because a family called Noonans were living in it.
