Forge-work
Mr. Patrick Keneally, Knocknaboul, made a fire-crane at home. It was an iron one.
Mr. John Feeney, Knocknaboul, made an iron gate at home. He made ploughs, turnip machines and scufflers. He does not make them now. He used make them ten or twelve years ago.
Spinning and Weaving
Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. Fenney and Mrs. O'Neill, Ballysaggart, worked spinning wheels. They used send the wool to Kilworth Mill to be carded.
Weaving
Mr. James McCarthy, Knocknaboul, worked a loom for a long time.
Thatchers.
Mr. John Heally, Knocknaboul, Mr. Patrick O'Keefe, Feagarrid, and Mr. Edmond O'Brien, Knocknaboul, were the three best thatchers in Ballysaggart.
They used go around to the farmers and thatch their houses for hire.
Woodwork.
