  1. Faithful and kindly and true to the end,
Adieu: God's true servants, adieu suffering friend,
Thy name and thy memory shall evermore,
Have a shrine, Fr. Mockler, in they loved Lismore,
Every read to succour the helples poor,
Reward you will find in the Heavens, Im sure.
Just, kindly, true-hearted, in thought, word and deed.
Men and women lament him, whatever their creed.
On the slope of the hillside, O sad was his end,
Christ saw the time fitting, and called our kind friend.
Kindly acts, kindly thoughts, shall his monument be,
Lasting tributes more great than the marbles we see.
Earthly trials are over, thy pilgrimage done.
Rest in peace till the Master says "Servant well done."
