  1. Old Ruins.
    The nearest old castle is called Clancy's Castle. It is supposed to have been built by the Danes.
    It is told, there is an underground passage connecting this castle with Glencairn Abbey, about three miles distant.
    Then Glencairn Abbey is connected also by an underground passage with Lismore Castle, and also with Sheane Castle, about two miles south west of Clancy's Castle.
    Battles were supposed to have been fought at three castles Clancys Castle is now in ruins and the owner still names Clancy has built a good
