  1. The Hidden Treasure
    The treasure consists of a pot of gold hidden by a highwayman named Byrne.
    It is supposed to be hidden about a quarter ,mile from the village of Ballyduff.
    The place is called "Glen na Gasuise", and the treasure lies somewhere between an old mill(burned during the civil war), which is situated close to the village of Ballyduff, and a Mass-rock some four hundred yards further up the glen in Gortnapeaka.
    A robber named O Byrne is supposed to have hidden it there. This robber, and his companions, lived on the mountains, and robbed mail coaches and travellers on their journeys between
