  1. This is a little prayer you should say when in bed
    "In this bed I lie to sleep
    To God I give my soul to keep
    And if I die before I wake
    I pray to god my soul to take.
    There are four corners in my bed
    There are four angels over spread
    Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
    God bless this bed that I lay on.
    As I look up at the Blessed Lamb
    I see the Blessed Virgin Mary passing on
    Seven Mass books in her hands
    Seven priests singing
    Seven bells ringing
    Open the gates of Heaven
    Close the gates of Hell
    And enter my poor soul into
    Heaven for evermore. Amen."
