  2. There is a holy well in Ballyheaffy Co. Waterford in Thomas Shannahan's land in the parish of Ballyheaffy. It is situated quite closely to the Arra river in a cluster of small trees. This well is called Tobar na gCrann. Saint Carthage was connected with this well. One day when he was on his journey
