- There is a Fairy Fort in McGrath;s land in Barnahown, Araglen, Kilworth, Co. Cork convenient to Ballyheaffy school. There is a white thorn tree growing in the middle of the field. The fairies claimed some of the land around it. Hugh McGrath ploughed too near it one time although he was advised not to do so by older people.
