  1. St Stephens Day the day after after Christmas day is celebrated in this district by young and old. It is held in honour of St Stephen who was stoned to death.
    Weeks before this day all the young boys are very busy gathering clothes with bright attractive colours to which the people will admire and praise.
    On St Stephens morning they dress themselves with those clothes and conceal their faces with false faces and curtains. Then at the begginning of some street they start playing
