  1. The Games I Play.
    4th May 1938
The games I play are the fisherman's game, Jenny Jones, cat and mouse, skipping around the green gravel, ring around of roses, swinging colours, blind man's bluff and hide and seek.
I usually play the fisherman's game during the summer. It is played by two girls who go out running and they have to catch all the other girls.
I play Jenny Jones by having one of the girls to act as her. The girl I choose is supposed to be sick in bed and the other girls come to see her everyday.
One day when they come to see her she is supposed to be dying and one of the girls act as the doctor and another as a priest. Then she dies and the other girls carry her to the grave and when they leave her down she suddenly gets alive again and she follows the girls that were about to bury her and she catches one of
the girls and she has to act as Jenny Jones then.
