  1. The birds that are commonly found in my district are the thrush, blackbird, wren, swallow, robin, house martin, crow, owl, jackdaw, magpie, wagtail, hawk, cuckoo, plover, water-hen, sea-gull, skylark, pheasant, crane, corn-crake, snipe, wild duck, yellow-hammer, and the wild pigeon.
    The swallow, cuckoo, and corn-crake migrate. They leave us in the end of Summer and they come back to us in the end of Spring.
    The blackbird builds her nest on a white thorn bush or on a hazel bush. She lays four eggs. They are of a blue colour with dark spots on them. She sits three weeks on the eggs. She makes her nest with moss, wool and
